Celebrating five decades of cultural influence, adidas relaunched its most iconic shoe, the Superstar, with a global campaign created by Johannes Leonardo that looks forward while honoring the brand’s legacy of collaboration. Directed by and starring Jonah Hill, the film brings together adidas’ community of creators in a fictional facility where culture converges. Following skater Jenn Soto as she moves through this space, the story unfolds across music, fashion, sport, and art, underscoring a central idea: Change is a Team Sport.
For the campaign, our team developed the key visual language. Drawing inspiration from heritage sports culture and the visual codes of team sports, we designed a system that presents talent and product through player cards and vintage-inspired sports posters. To create an identity rooted in tradition, we styled everyone in classic Adidas tracksuits, creating a modern tribute to the brand’s athletic legacy.
