Nicholas Lomboy is an independent creative director and artist based in New York City. He helps brands define who they are, how they show up, and how people experience them.

I’ve worked across a range of creative environments, from global agencies to leading in-house tech teams. Most recently, I was the Design Director at Made Thought, where I helped shape the New York studio and build a creatively diverse team. After 12 years in agency settings, I founded my own practice that’s built on collaboration, direct partnerships with clients, and has the flexibility to seamlessly integrate with creative teams. At its core is a deep commitment to thoughtful execution, craft, and collaborative ways of working.

My work is inspired by my curiosity, conversations, and a lifelong interest in subcultures. Often times these influences guide me to create work with deeper meaning and strategic context.
